Tea time, book time...sleep time???

So my coworker/friend Minhwa is leaving tomorrow to go visit her fiance in Europe. I'm going to miss her the weeks that she is gone. And not even because I have to teach her classes, lol. I've started growing closer to her. So to honor her last(but not really last) day here we went to a tea/coffee/cake place in Anyang. So first of all, Anyang is way bigger than I ever remember it being. I strolled around the bookstore while I waited for her. I wanted to take a picture but I didn't want to offend the book people around me so I'll just show you what I bought..."Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"-this book interested me the first time I read it. I actually read it to understand more about my womanliness rather than about men. "Bridget Jones..."-I love the movies so I'm hoping I'll really enjoy the books. Stephen King...I love just about everything from this man so I picked a book at random that I haven't read yet. After that we walked around Anyang for a little bit and headed to the tea place. So I suck at picture taking so I didn't think to take a picture of the outside. But next week I am going back with Leon so I'll do better. We ordered a chocolate cake, vanilla latte and cafe irish...Then we just chatted for a few hours and enjoyed the night before I walked her home and then cabbed it back to Pyeongchon. I had a semi-coherent conversation in Korean with the cab driver. That little bit made me want to strive to learn Korean even more. Now I'm sitting here doing laundry...
...and trying to convince myself to prep for the rest of the week......when all I really want to do is cuddle up to Kogepan-pillow and enjoy my night in front of the boob tube......hmph...

hehe... I am reading a novel now too, but sometimes I just want to zone out. Then I get a TV headache and regret it..hehe

Why am I here??? said...

hehe, looks like fun (minus the prep work...hehe).

I'm so jealous of your large apartment. And you probably don't even think it's that big, do ya!!!

Count down is on until your man arrives. On the 21st if I recall correctly.

Btw, will you be able to sneak out with Heather on Saturday night and join me at my house party? It's a Christmas party and ppl will bring a 10 000W gift to exchange with someone else (A little Christmas away for Christmas). I had one of these last year and it was a blast (I invited different sets of friends and everyone got along well). Even though we've only met a few times (and Heather only once) you're both certainly welcome to join in the fun....the more the merrier!
